Hi - Kim here. Our changing exhibit, “Hot Off the Press” features an article that discusses what may be a collision between two asteroids. We can give the Hubble Telescope the credit for capturing the event and the object photographed is called P/2010 A2. By studying this occurrence we may learn more about how asteroids break apart.
