Navajo & Hopi Nations Tour
The Navajo Native American Reservation is the largest in the United States, covering 25,000 square miles. On the Hopi Native American Reservation, in the heart of Navajoland, you will see the villages of Second Mesa and Oraibi (photography not permitted). Visit the Hopi Cultural Center where you can tour the Museum, see silversmiths at work, and shop for authentic Native American arts and crafts. Be certain your vehicle has plenty of gas before traveling the sparsely populated Indian Country on this 250-mile trek.
Drive east through Winslow to Exit 257, then north on Hwy 87, 56 miles to Second Mesa. Take Hwy 264 west (left) to Tuba City, then west on U.S. 160 to U.S. 89 south to Flagstaff and your return to Meteor Crater RV Park via I-40 east.
